You will take a ride by Zagreb’s funicular, which is the shortest cable car in the world. From the Upper Town, we will enjoy some of the most beautiful views of the area. We continue our tour passing by Zagreb’s Cathedral and walking through Croatia’s biggest green market ”Dolac”. With many museums, galleries, cafes, open markets, clubs, and pubs, Zagreb is today a city pulsing with life!
This day we continue with our best of Croatia private tour. We will step into the Royal history of the Zagreb and the Zagorje region. On the way to Trakoščan castle, you will learn about the history of the area and about the itinerary for the day. Today, we leave Split for a day trip to Hvar island. With driver-guide for Croatia, we start with panoramic views over the Dalmatian islands of Šolta and Brač. Your meal will be prepared in a “traditional island way” and served by the island’s best olive oil producer Mr. Borivoj Bojanic and his wife Zeljka. Next, we are taking a coastal drive south by the Konavle Valley. Our next stop to the seaside town of Cavtat. In the 4th Century, it began as a Greek settlement called Epidaurus, then later a Roman colony. You will have time for a city walk. The limestone paved streets, squares, charming seaside promenade. You’ll have the option to do some free time at one of the many outdoor cafes. The tour continues with the panoramic drive back towards Dubrovnik making a slight detour to the Srđ hilltop.
